We have recently been informed that the portion of the I-205 bike path between Sunnyside Road and Highway 224 has been closed and cyclists are being detoured for approximately one year. If you are not already aware of the detour route, here it is:

"...the detour route...runs from Sunnyside Road to SE 82nd Ave via SE 93rd Ave and Sunnybrook Street. South of 82nd Ave, bicyclists will rejoin the existing path at SE Ambler Road. The section of the detour route along SE 82nd Avenue is separated from the travel lanes by concrete barrier and will accommodate both directions of bicycle traffic. Detour signs are in place to assist cyclists."
