About OHPV-list	English (USA)
The Oregon Human Powered Vehicles e-mail discussion list (OHPV-list) is a mailing list for the discussion of topics relating to recumbent bikes or human-powered vehicles in and around Oregon and Southwest Washington. This list will keep you informed about the goings-on regarding recumbent and human-powered vehicle rides, races, and related activities in this area. The intent is to keep email "traffic" to a minimum, but still allow interested parties to send out invitations, discuss plans, ask questions, make recommendations, and so on. We'd also like to keep the subjects relevant to this area--if you have general questions, the bentrideronline.com forums or the IHPVA mailing lists may be better places for your queries. Moderation of the list *should not* be required, unless the list is blatantly abused. Abuse includes: commercial advertising (personal for-sale postings are OK), on-list political arguments (if you have an issue with someone's politics, e-mail them privately), and publicly abusive language (if you want to cuss at someone, do so privately). To post a message to all the list members, send email to ohpv-list@ohpv.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to OHPV-list
Subscribe to OHPV-list by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
