If you choose to use an email address and user name that have not been used for bicycle-related activity and are not otherwise obviously associated with the local area, this may keep your request from being approved. Due to the constant attempts of spammer exploits to gain forum membership, all requests are screened against a list of known spammers. Known spammers are silently rejected.

If the spammer check comes up clear, the address and ID are checked in Google. If the requester is unknown to Google or turns up with nothing related to bicycles or the local area, the request is likely to be held for rechecking later. There are over a dozen requests currently in that state dating back into May 2009.

Hey Party People ,, We will be hosting the Holiday party & would like to get an idea of how many people will attend so we can have enough chairs & table space for you all. For
any members that need an address to attend the party please e-mail me at  goldrushme@comcast.net & I will respond with my location in Milwaukie. I do request you bring slippers or heavy socks since my living room wood floors are not sealed well. I'm looking forward  to the camaraderie & fun times this group enjoys.

Happy Holidays!! Terry

OK, the weather people are predicting everything except for a plague of locusts on Saturday, but Sunday is looking like just plain rain. We'll see you there!
Here's a link to Sunday's weather prediction:

And if you remember to bring your OHPV member card with you, and pay your 2010 dues, I can update the sticker on the back of your card with your new expiration date.  If you don't have it with you, or choose to pay a little later, I can mail the new sticker to you, same as I'll mail out the new cards for new members.

See you all there :-)

Whoops- I dropped off a check for Diane and me, but neglected to pick up my sticker. No matter- I'll see you on some ride or another.
Git along, little kitties...

What a great time was had... And to think that I'm among such lofty company in the "Crash Test Dummy" honor category! Thanks to the Minors and their beautiful home.
