News: *** Please note this if you are requesting forum membership *** If you choose to use an email address and user name that have not been used for bicycle-related activity and are not otherwise obviously associated with the local area, this may keep your request from being approved. Due to the constant attempts of spammer exploits to gain forum membership, all requests are screened against a list of known spammers. Known spammers are silently rejected. If the spammer check comes up clear, the address and ID are checked in Google. If the requester is unknown to Google or turns up with nothing related to bicycles or the local area, the request is likely to be held for rechecking later. There are over a dozen requests currently in that state dating back into May 2009. |

Do your sources tell you the start & stop times of the meet? Hmmm... I need to bug JR about that. |

This popped up on Bike Portland: http://bikeportland.org/2010/09/06/event-pdx-cycle-swap-91210-39050 It seems we now have enough traffic in used bike parts to support monthly bike parts swap meets. The address says it's close to the Widmer brewhaus on Interstate Ave. and only a few blocks from my work. I might have to sell some old parts... and then buy more! It looks to me that crossing the RR is only possible at N. Tillamook--Randolf, Harding, Lewis, Clark, and Albina are all blocked. That puts the brewhaus a bit further away. The MAX stop at Albina is close, and it looks like there are bike lanes. -Denis |

Thanks Kirke for the great day in the coastal mountain region of NW Oregon. Perfect weather - great friends - super breakfast - good ice cream - - doesn't get any better.
Looking forward to the new route next year ![]() |

Not excactly OHPV related, but does affect anyone driving on Portland area highways. Here is a link to the various ODOT road projects, listing project description, any lane closures and times, etc. Might help with planning your various driving trips around town. Updated weekly

Agree on the promising weather - can't find anything to get too worried about. Dennis says he is planning to be there, so we are looking at five so far for the full loop.

Significant rain will cancel the ride. I'll post here the evening before if this looks likely. Who's going to come and ride with us? Diane and I are planning on being at the Elderberry at oh-dark-30 for the full loop. The weather looks promising. |

I need to sell my Terratrike Zoomer. It has the fenders, rack, bags, light, review mirrors. Bike is located in Hillsboro. Asking $1600, contact Dwayne at 503-858-0450 for more information.
